You must have the Collect diagnostics permission under Remote tasks and Read permission under Device compliance policies⁴.
The device must be designated as Corporate-Owned⁵.
Steps to Collect Diagnostics
Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center⁴.
Navigate to Devices > Windows > select a supported device⁴.
On the device’s Overview page, select … > Collect diagnostics > Yes⁴. A pending notification appears on the device’s Overview page⁴.
To see the status of the action, select Device diagnostics monitor⁴.
After the action completes, select Download in the row for the action > Yes⁴. The data zip file is added to your download tray and you can save it to your computer⁴.
